Google Apps Marketplace
Google Apps Marketplace 역시, Vendor 가 되려면 Google checkout 이 필요하다.
판매대상이 Android application 이 아닌, Web application 이라는것이 다른점이다.
개발자에게 독립할 기회를 준다는것이 같은점이다.
2010 년 3월 22일 현재 Google checkout 문제로,
한국인 개발자는 Vendor 가 될수 없다는것이 안드로이드 마켓과 같은점이다.

Paypal 을 반대하는 사이트가 있다.
Paypal 을 사용하지 말아야 하는 이유가 자세히 소개되어 있다.

paypal 은 판매( sell ) 할수있는 계정인 Premier 와 Business 계정에
"South Korea" 를 지원한다.

한국에 있는 은행 ("your local bank account") 에서 인출( Withdraw )할 수 있다고 한다. ( 확인은 안해봤다. )
"한국에 판매자( seller ) 계정을 지원하는 결재수단"을
내가 너무 늦게 발견한 것인가?
- paypal 의 수수료는 얼마인가.
- paypal 의 단점은 무엇인가.
- paypal 을 결재수단으로 사용하는 application open market 은 존재하는가.

그렇다!
amazon payments 역시 "미국신용카드"가 있어야 한다.
한국은 지원하지 않는다.
당연하다.
amazon 은 미국회사이기 때문이다.
한국 신용카드로 amazon 에서 Business 하려는것은 나의 욕심인것이다.

개인개발자의 입장에서 이 그림을 보면 다음과 같은 생각이든다.
1. 아이폰이 대세다.
돈벌려면 맥북을 사고 아이폰 앱을 만들어야 한다.
2. 심비안도 시장규모가 여전히 크다.
( 그러나 디바이스 사양이 여러가지라 앱 개발, 검수가 어렵다. )
3. 안드로이드가 북미지역을 중심으로 조금씩 세력을 넓히고 있다.
4. 윈도모바일은 보이지도 않는다.
-- ( 그런데, 삼성엡스토어, SKT의 T 스토어는 현재 윈도모바일만 지원하고있는 현실이다. )
따라서, 개인개발자가 앱개발할때 선택할 수 있는 OS 는 다음 3가지로 압축된다.

<한국에서의 오픈 마켓> (2010년 2월 25일 현재)
1. Apple App Store:
한국 개발자가 정상적인 방법으로 판매권한( merchant )을 얻을 수 없다.
아이폰 사용자가 앱스토어에서 유료컨텐츠를 구매하는것( customer )도
편법을 동원해야하는 현실이다.
개발자와 사용자에게 모두 막혀있다.
2. 심비안의 Ovi store
; 정보가 없다.
3. 안드로이드 마켓:
한국개발자가 판매권한( merchant )을 얻을 수 없다.
현재 "모토로이"에서는 무료앱만 보이는것으로 보아서,
유료앱을 구매( customer )할 수 없는것으로 추정된다.
역시, 개발자와 사용자에게 모두 막혀있다.

PayPal has launched a free Android app for accessing PayPal accounts. The PayPal app offers, direct integration with the contact list, recent history and balance checks.The PayPal Android app is available on Android Market.
"And, of course, all your mobile payments are kept safe using the same start-of-the-art technology we use on paypal.com," wrote PayPal mobile team member Eric Duprat on the PayPal Blog.
PayPal is also available in MyMoneyManger for Sprint. PayPal can be accessed from a mobile web browser at mobile.paypal.com on a mobile phone. They have a text function that requires activation and a touch-tone phone for the automated voice system to check balances or send a payment.
